Weekly Photo Challenge: Fleeting Moment

I wasn’t sure if I was going to make this week’s challenge. I thought I would have – so much time – now that I am working from home. But THAT is not the case….

I am busier than ever. My morning commute time lapsed into extra sleep time (bad!bad!bad!). And my evening commute time? Well….I have no idea. I haven’t been able to depart my “job” on time (most nights) and so it seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle of that lateness. We, also, have the little girls here all month, and by the time I am due to be off, Jason is home from his job as well. It gets a little crazy.

Having a door to close off from everyone does WONDERS.

But, this working from home thing is pretty new, so I am sure I will get a better hang of the time management part soon (and wake up earlier again!).

This fleeting moment was caught yesterday on the River Brazos where our family spent Fourth of July. I realize it is not a exactly a “street” view. However, the river was our street as we floated along our watery walkway among other motor crafts.

I was capturing the sunset when a couple pulled up on a jet ski. It was like they were part of the scene. I think they were destined to pose their fleeting moment just for me.

This was way too beautiful of a setting not to share.

And let me just add……watching sunsets and fireworks on the river? Absolutely amazing.

  1. Beautiful pictures. Simply awesome.
Yes, working from home sometimes becomes difficult, as it is hard to separate personal life from professional life. 🙂 Still I hope you will get habituated to it soon.
