Weekly Photo Challenge: Purple and Pretty

I love purple. I love flowers. I love pretty.

And I am so grateful for so many lovely images in my archives that I have not shared.

I captured these images this spring at Clark Gardens outside of Weatherford, Texas. While I would LOVE to get back there and shoot purple this week, that is just not going to happen.

It’s over 100 degrees every day. I am working my full-time job, have full-time kids, and I am in the middle of being extremely behind editing three photography sessions done on previous weekends.

So…I hope you don’t mind a little step back to spring for a splash of purple.

Nature’s beauty calls to my heart and when I think in colors. This is what I see.

Discovering this idyllic place, we find ourselves filled with a
yearning to linger here, where time stands still and beauty
overwhelms.
