I’m posting every day in 2011!

I’ve decided I want to blog more. Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now. I will be posting on this blog once a day for all of 2011.

I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.

Do I have time for this? No.

Why am I doing it then? Let’s call it a test. Creating a habit. Writing more to keep creativity flowing. Creativity begets a sharper mind. More ideas. I mean, I do better at work when it’s busy. I guess I am applying the same concept here.

2011 is the year I turn 40, the year I will push myself to go beyond. I will be working on writing, creativity, and photography. Making decisions to thrive, grow, and change.

I am joining Peggy Nolan from Six weeks to a new you: From Survive to Thrive. There are a few seats left if you feel the need for a push in 2011.

Looks like you will be hearing more from me. I hope you will stick with me through my journey.

  1. I’m with you, sweetie. I’ve already made a commitment to be more faithful to my blogger friends. 40, huh? I’ll be 60 in February. You probably can’t imagine. Me, either. I look forward to seeing more of you. I do love to read what you have on your mind and what’s going on in your life.
Ihope all is well with your sweet family. Hope Jason is doing better.
Love you and look forward to a wonderful 2011.

  2. Get ’em up there for a High Ten, Angelia! I am impressed and psyched and motivated! After much back and forth in my own head, and back and forth with blogging friends (accompanied by an occasional dopeslap), my own blog is forthcoming. 🙂 I’ll make sure to stay tuned to your blog too. Happy 2011!

Hmmm – turning 40 in August and making decisions to thrive, grow, and change? Yep, you are turning into a young middle-ager! Just another season of your life that I will enjoy watching as you continue to grow.

  4. That will sure require a lot of discipline–good for you; I hope it is an encouraging venture. I’ll be dropping by next week to catch up on all the posts I’ve missed–I have a guest staying in my computer room, so I only get a few snippets of time during the day to use it. Look forward to seeing what I’ve missed when I get back. 🙂
God’s blessings for the new year ahead.

  5. You’ll find it quite addicting…and often wonder HOW you are able to type out SO much for just one day!! LOL Think of it like being 16 and writing in your journal. For me, its like writing a letter a day to my mom to let her know what’s going on…and sometimes for my kids so they can have written proof that they had it GOOD!! lol

  6. I saw this on the WordPress front page. Better you than me, sister! I thought about it, but I know for a fact that I won’t be able to post every day. In fact, making a promise to myself TO post every day would make me less likely to do so! So, I’ll certainly encourage you along your route! Good luck with your goals!

  7. Good luck.

I don’t know that I have time for it. I was just thinking that I usually read your blog first because you don’t post every day so it is easier for me to keep up. I am WAY behind on the bloggers that post everyday. But . . . I will cheer you on even if I can’t read it everyday!

    Go for it!
