And this Senior happens to be my baby.

Oh my gah!!
I just want someone to tell me, how eighteen years goes by so fast? How is it possible?
This is it.
Her final year.
We are in the countdown and someone sped up the ticker. I don’t like that person.
In less than six months, she will turn eighteen and graduate.
She will be an adult (gulp!).
I swore I wouldn’t cry. I’m never swearing anything ever again.
I am the mom of Senior in High School.
In a very short time, she will be the same age I was when I packed my car and moved to Texas.
Still can’t believe I did that so young.
I know she is ready (in her own way). I know she is excited for the next part of her life.
Sydney, you have my heart and you sure make a momma proud.
Senior 2012!
She’s beautiful. I never realized she was this old either. Mine went from 4 to 11 overnight. I’m really hoping it goes a little slower now.
Congratulations to Sydney. She’s going to do great!

DM-It won’t. It flys by in a ridiculous fashion. He was so little when I first met you! That really did happen overnight. Wow. Just wow.

Time picks up speed, I swear it does. Two minutes ago, mine were little. Now they’re all married and making the most incredible babies.

Caelan just turned 15 yesterday – I’m aware of how quickly the time is flying. I fully expect to wake up tomorrow and it’ll be June 2015 and she’ll be a high school senior. Hugs, Angelia. Sydney is gorgeous, and you took some lovely photos!

She’s gorgeous! Can’t believe she’s turning 18- seems like she just turned 16! Guess we have been blog buds longer than I thought. Its hard, this really is a bittersweet time. Its hard to balance wanting them to behave like the young adult they are and wanting them to stay little forever. I still struggle with that balance everyday!
Enjoy those next six months!

We need to find that person and kick him or her in the shins.
Your daughter is beautiful and I’m sure you did an excellent job raising her. She’d probably be just fine if she packed up her car and moved (but I so feel you on that: I look back on the places I’d been and things I did when I was 18 and think, “I thought I was all grown up! I was so young!”)
