Lucky the Lizard lives in a tree,
Never a fella as lucky as he.
Luck in the morning.
And luck in the eve.
A luck like this lizard, not a one could believe.
One day Lucky lizard took a trip far away.
He wanted to see sights, and have his heyday.
What could possibly happen to the chillest alive?
Through stones, bricks, and branches he jigged and he jived.
Lucky ol’ lizard climbed up a doorway.
Nothing and no one could get in his way.
He slithered and withered, straight up did he climb.
A journey of ages, what could be more sublime?
As luck would have it, he snoozed and he cruised.
To his next adventure, with nary a bruise.
The luck of this lizard just couldn’t be beat.
My poor Puppy Anna missed out on a treat.
And Perhaps, he went on to do commercials. Heh.
Look, another entry to The Daily Post Silhouette Challenge.
It wasn’t until seeing the last two photos with Anna that I understood how “Lucky” got his name. 😀
Cool series!

Yes I’d say Lucky earned his name here, our Dachshund Dixie has quite a ball playing with the lizards here, they can go for months without incident and once the lizard gets a bit lazy they are lucky no more, we call her Dixie The Lizard Getter :^0

Anna has been fast enough to catch a tail of one sitting out on the back porch. And once when one ran inside. A little more than the tail came off. I watched as it’s tail flipped all over the place – disgusted and fascinated. HA. Poor thing didn’t make it. My husband was not happy I covered it and left it for him to pick up in the morning. LOL. Dixie must be pretty quick!

Thanks Carol. She is a fun dog. She, also, catches moths. THAT is pretty entertaining.

OMG…you’re so creative. At first I didn’t “see” the pup in the photos!

I know! She wouldn’t just put her doggie head up there. She had to reach a paw up too. I, actually, had to get to the side to get more of a profile with her doggie ears. 🙂

Love Lucky Lizard’s story. Fun, adventurous, exciting. The B and W effect added to the mystery and suspense. Have a great weekend.

The B&W really made it pop. There wasn’t much color anyway, so I liked how it turned out. Thank you so much! And thanks for the tweets! I need to remember to tweet more. 🙂

It took me to the last photo to realize it was the silhouette of a dog. Lucky had her undivided attention!
