The reflections on a day well spent furnish us with joys more pleasing than ten thousand triumphs.

Reverie is when ideas float in our mind without reflection or regard of the understanding.
John Locke (1632 – 1704) English philosopher

The world is a looking glass, and gives back to every man the reflection of his own face. Frown at it and it will in turn look sourly upon you; laugh at it and with it, and it is a jolly kind companion.
William Makepeace Thackeray (1811 – 1863) English novelist
Reflection is a flower of the mind, giving out wholesome fragrance; but revelry is the same flower, when rank and running to seed.
Martin Tupper (1810 – 1889) English poet

I created a calendar for my mom this year. It was so fun. I used some nature photography and some of family. It was a great mix and she just loves it. Thanks Arindam!

What a lovely combination of images – visual and literal. Your post doesn’t simply offer us your interpretations of ‘reflection’ but encourages us to consider our own. Who knew the often deprecated Canada Goose could be such a star! Thanks, Angela!
